About us
Who we are

Built for the complexity that surrounds high-level success.

Founded by electronic music veteran Marty True, X-Static Music Group brings decades of music-industry experience together with the executive discipline, discretion, and operational standards of a Private Office.

XMG works exclusively with high-performing electronic music artists, providing an executive coordination layer across the increasingly complex professional and personal worlds that surround them. We work alongside managers, agents, lawyers, publicists, financial advisors, household and estate professionals, and other trusted people—connecting what happens between roles and maintaining visibility across the whole picture.

The result is a Private Office built specifically for the realities of a successful electronic music artist’s career and life.

Our Story

X-Static Music Group grew from decades spent inside the electronic music industry—and a recognition that success eventually creates challenges the traditional music-business ecosystem wasn’t designed to solve.

Founder Marty True’s career spans music, media, branding, digital strategy, and the development of artist-focused businesses. Alongside that work, years of operating in Chief of Staff and Private Office environments provided firsthand experience with a different standard of executive coordination: one built around discretion, continuity, anticipation, and visibility across an entire complex life.

Those experiences ultimately shaped the XMG Private Office—a model created specifically for high-performing electronic music artists whose careers and personal worlds have grown beyond the boundaries of traditional industry roles.

To give world-class artists the same level of strategic support and operational excellence as the world’s most powerful executives.

Milestones

Our Journey

2003

The Beginning: X-Static Records

Founded as X-Static Records, our story began during the early-2000s dance music movement. Operating as an independent label provided firsthand experience across releases, promotion, artist relationships, and the business behind the music.

2008

The Industry Evolves

As digital distribution and streaming began reshaping the music business, X-Static expanded beyond the traditional label model into marketing, branding, and digital strategy—building a broader understanding of how artists and audiences were beginning to connect.

2011

X-Static Music Group

X-Static Music Group officially launched, bringing together years of electronic music experience across labels, media, marketing, creative strategy, and emerging digital platforms under a broader vision.

2015

Expanding the Digital Toolkit

As the artist ecosystem became increasingly digital, XMG expanded its capabilities across online strategy, audience development, data-informed promotion, and emerging platforms—adding new ways to understand and support an artist’s growing world.

2018

Beyond the Traditional Music Business

Years spent working across different parts of the industry made one thing increasingly clear: an artist’s needs rarely fit neatly inside traditional industry roles. XMG’s perspective broadened from individual services toward understanding the larger ecosystem surrounding an artist’s career.

2020

Building Systems and Infrastructure

XMG increasingly focused on the systems behind the work—developing operational tools, workflows, data capabilities, and infrastructure designed to create greater visibility, continuity, and efficiency across complex artist operations.

2022

Connecting the Ecosystem

Those capabilities began converging around a larger idea: the artist’s career isn’t a collection of isolated functions, but an interconnected ecosystem of people, information, responsibilities, opportunities, and decisions that someone needs to see as a whole.

2025

The Private Office Takes Shape

Years of electronic music experience, systems thinking, and firsthand exposure to Chief of Staff and Private Office operating standards converged into the model XMG uses today: a Private Office built specifically for high-performing electronic music artists.

Rather than replacing managers, agents, lawyers, publicists, advisors, or other trusted professionals, XMG provides the executive coordination layer between them—extending across the artist’s professional and personal world.
